What Is The Sharp Pain In My Ribs Followed By Sweating?

Hi i keep getting a sharp pain at the top of my ribs on the left side it will last awhile then turn into a dull ache i just wanted advice also I have been sweating a lot which might be nothing to do with the pain but i don t usually sweat this much thanks for your time amy

Thanks for your question on HCM.
In my opinion we should rule out cardiac cause as most common cause for left sided chest pain and perspiration is heart problems.
So get done ECG and 2D Echo to rule out cardiac cause.
If this is normal than get done CBC and thyroid level (S. TSH) to rule out anemia and thyroid diseases.
As anemia and thyroid problem can cause chest pain and perspiration.
If both of these are also normal than your symptoms are mostly related to stress and anxiety.
So avoid stress and anxiety. Be relax and calm.
