Hi,

Saaz (Sulfasalazine) is used for treatment of ankylosing spondylitis. It can have drug interaction with Sulfonylureas: Increased sulfonylurea half-lives and hypoglycemia have occurred. If you are taking any anti-diabetic of Sulfonylurea group ( e.g. Glimepiride, Glipizide, Glyburide or Gliclazide), you run the risk of hypoglycemia.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
