Hi,I am Dr. Amitkumar Sharma (Internal Medicine Specialist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I am age 47 and trying to avoid having a period weekend of January 17th, went to my GYN and she gave me norethindrone 5 mg a day to delay next period but when I saw her I was already 2 weeks late, have gone 6 weeks without period. I have been taking this medicine for 4 days now trying to delay any period further so I will get period about 2 weeks from now. Will this work? If I stop after 4 doses will I get a period for sure, as I think I am having side effects and not sure what to do and I think I just may have missed a month of ovulation
