What Is The Side Effects Of Hypothyroidism?

Dear doctor Samuel, i am a hypothyroidism patient for the past 3 yrs. i am taking 63.5 mcg of thyronorm tablet. in august 2013 , my tsh was 4.19. in june 2014 i had leg pain . My doctor advised me to take TSH test. i had a test and the value is 6.21. doctor checked my weight. my weight reduced to 3 kg in june2014from mar 2014.but my doctor increased my dosage from 63.5 to 75 mcg. after one week my wight is 62.5 kg. every time i take 75 mcg, iget palpitations and severe body tiredness. Am i taking overdose of thyronorm or the TSH report is incorrect ? Regards, Ganesh

Please repeat the thyroid function reports if in doubt. The dose of thyroid hormone depends on the thyroid function reports and not based on weight gain or loss. Please upload your thyroid function reports.
