What Is The Side Effects Of Zempred?

Hi I am Vijay, I am a RA Patient. I am using the medicine from last 1Yr. I am taking the Zempred tablet daily based on my doctor advise like 83mg some times and 2-4 mg some times. Is there any side effcts due to this drug. Also please let me know the permanent treatment for RA.

Zempred contains Methylprednisolone which is a steroid . I will enumerate the most common side effects of this drug .

1. Gastritis
2.Thinning of Skin
3. Raise in Blood Sugars .
4. Delay in wound healing .
5. Thins out bones .
6. Swelling of face .
7. Immuonosupression.
8. Cataract .
9. Mood changes .

Till today there is no permanent cure for RA .
