What Is The Small Yellow Bump Under Skin On Labia Minor? Waxy Yellow Pus Comes Out On Popping

I had a small bump under the skin on my labia minor, it was yellow, I squeezed it hard and a waxy yellow pus came out, I have had these since my teens, always one spot, always a waxy yellow string like pus when popped. They are always under the skin and only one at a time. What are they likey to be?

Hi,

The small bump under the skin of your labia minor could be related to :
- folliculitis
- infected fatty gland

I advise to:
- keep the area well cleaned with warm water and soap
- dry it well
- apply betaine locally and antibiotic cream (gentamycin)

If the bump won't heal, then, should start oral antibiotics together with surgically drainage of the bump. A further evaluation by the OG specialist is highly recommended then.
