What Is The Solution For Breast Cancer After The Treatment?

Dr. I want to ask u that my mom got breast removed due to Ductal CA of breast in 2007.she was on Tab.Tamoxifen citrate 20 mg OD for 5yrs.now she is well but still we want cure for her.so pl suggest me that what we should do for further information regarding breast cancer. Thanks

It would have helped to know the stage of her cancer and whether she received any chemotherapy or radiotherapy. Anyways, it does not matter now since the time to give any chemotherapy or radiotherapy has long gone. No further treatment is now recommended. All you need to do now is to see your oncologist every 6 months for a clinical examination and get a mammogram done every year.
