What Is The Solution For Digestion Problem And Milk Protein Allergy In Neonate?

My son has a milk protein allergy and is on neonate. He takes 4oz every 3 hrs, he is 51/2 months old. We recently started him on solids with the ok from our doc. He is having a hard time digesting the solids and his symptoms are returning. We are using earth's best and beechnut because those brands are supposed to be easily digested. Not sure why he is still having such a problem.
