What Is The Solution For Hair Fall And Dandruff?
Hi. I am suffering with hair fall and dandruff from past 4 years. Previously i have consulted a dermatologist. She didn't even checked my scalp, but after listening to my problems(my scalp is itchy and flaky, doesnt matter what kind of hair oil or shampoo's i have used), she suggested me to use flucort and canstene skin lotion every day and candid tv shampoo twice in a week. i have used them for 2 months they worked fine. now in the 4 th month the problem has reappeared again. can u suugest any good solution ??

Dandruff or seborrheic dermatitis is a recurring condition, so you have to use an anti-dandruff shampoo, initially at least thrice weekly and then regularly once or twice weekly for maintenance. Uncontrolled dandruff is the most likely reason for hair fall in your case
Flucort lotion is a topical steroid and it can be used in severe dandruff for initial 2-3 weeks along with an anti-dandruff shampoo and once the dandruff lessens then flucort lotion should be stopped and the improvement maintained with just anti-dandruff shampoo.
In my practice I find better results with Ketoconazole shampoo (Nizral), initially thrice weekly and then once or twice weekly for maintenance.
