What Is The Solution For Lump And Swelling In The Forehead After Healing A Stitch?

My three year old son hit the middle of his forehead last year when he was two. He end up getting sitches and then the doctor staple ithbecause it started to open. After it healed he was left with a lump in the middle of his forehead. What concerns me is for tye last five months it would swoll up. His doctor say its nothing to worry about but I feel it is. What can I do or can he have it removed.

Hai.. By what you quote, he seems to have developed a scar. If its increasing in size...it is called a keloid...which could as well be familial tendency. Would be useful if you could tell me if there's a family history if increased scar formation. You can definitely get it removed by a plastic surgeon. Happy to help anytime. If you are happy with my reply, kindly rate it.
