What Is The Substitute For Asthalin Inhaler?

hi..is there a substitute for asthalin inhaler? I am an indian student in Germany and I have mild bronchitis. So I keep this inhaler handy as I may need it from time to time.. I dont know whether this is available in Germany.. Also is this an over the counter medicine? I have a prescription for asthalin but not for any alternative if it is mentioned here...

The main medication in Athalin inhaler is Salbutamol which is helpful in symptoms (difficulty in breathing, wheezing, chest tightness) associated with airway diseases like bronchitis, bronchial asthma, etc.

The alternate brands which contain Salbutamol include Bronkonat, Ventolin, Albuterol,Ventodisk, Sultanol inhalers which also contain the same dosage of 100 mcg as that of Asthalin.

You may have to contact the nearest pharmacy or the office of the gp in your area for more guidance.
