Going through you history, I think you should be treated for
osteoporosis. You have already T11 compressed vertebrae and other complications could also arise due to fall.
The suggested treatment is as follows:
Non-pharmacologic therapy
1. Physical activity with resistance training to increase bone and muscle strength and it also reduces the risk of falling.
2. Participation in outdoor activities in safe manner to make you more active
3. Program of walking, sitting and standing exercises along with low impact or water
aerobics.
Pharmacologic therapy:
1. Hormones therapy with conjugated estrogen for indefeinite period.
2. Another optional one which I would also recommend is selective estrogen receptor modulaators like
Raloxifene. (mostly indicated with
vertebral fracture)
3. Along with calcium, additional Vit D therapy
Precautions: Avoid falls, make surroundings elder friendly.
