What Is The Suggestion When Pregnancy Test Showing Negative But Missing Periods?
I had period on 6th Dec. Till 24rt Jan cycle not happened. On 19th Jan done home pregnancy test but showed negative. Now, what to do? Should I do home pregnancy test once again? If yes and will results negative again than what would be next course of action?
To induce the period after detecting the underlying cause. Delayed period could be due emotional stress, recent job change, heavy exercise, hormonal disorders such as thyroid disease or increased prolactin levels, diseases of the ovary like PCOS, or other medical illness. You are advised to consult a gynecologist for further evaluation to rule out any underlying cause and then probably Norethisterone would be prescribed to induce the bleeding.
