What Is The Tingling Sensation In The Lower Legs With Patches On Them?

Two days ago light brown streaks and patches developed on both of my legs(it looks like a bad tanning job) and now while I was standing I had tingling sensation in the lower legs and also there s some pale red spots on my legs coming out... What should I do?

Hello,

I can understand your concern for the tingling sensation in the lower legs with patches. You have not told us your age, sex and related medical history so that we could have guided you best.

There can be multiple reasons of the tingling sensation in the lower legs with patches and it actually requires close physical examination of the area to guide you best.

I suggest you to meet a dermatologist and get yourself examined properly so that the exact cause can be ruled out.

In my patients with such a problem I presumptively prefer to give an antihistamine tablet such as lotratadine and apply hydrocortisone cream till a close physical examination is not possible.
