What Is The Treatment Available For Pulmonary Issues With Only One Lung Working?

Last visit my Dr.tells me I have one lung left with only half function...he has bee treating me for one year for pulmonary issues and makes this announcement to me. I am freaked out by this news, out of the blue...yet I function fairly well, so what am I to think? our myays really short or what!

If you are living with only one lung you should definitely take care for the below mention things.
1 do not smoke. If you are smoker, please quit immediately.
2 go for adult vaccination like H. Influenza and Pneumococcal.
3 avoid heavy exertion and take enough rest in heavy activities.
4 consider every chest infection judicious and treat with pulmonologist only.
5 start chest physiotherapy for better lung function.
6 start inhalers if you feel breathless.
