What Is The Treatment For Irritable Bowel Syndrome?
I have had frequent bowels and bloating for about 2 weeks. It peaked this past weekend as I was having up to 6 bowel movements, with occasional blood found in my stool. I also became very ill and i thought I had thrown up some blood. I am so bloated that my clothes are starting not to fit. even when i go to the bathroom it seems as though it doesnt reduce the bloating. I feared pregnancy, took a test and it was negative. About 3 weeks ago I had food poisoning but it was only for about 24 hrs. I went off my birth control for about a month so I was wondering maybe starting it again, has affected me like this. I have a history of gastritis and acid reflex.
I think your suffering from IBS-D, so you need to avoid spicy food, alcohol, smoking, dairy products, gluten contain food, and peanuts et cetera. Use tablet Loperamide in case of diarrhea, use tablet Nirmaxine twice a day for five days.
If symptoms not improved, please consult your physician, he/she will examine and treat you accordingly.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards, Dr. Penchila Prasad Kandikattu
