General & Family Physician, Dr. Vasudha's Response
Hi,
You had been given Tab. Ubiphene to stimulate maturity of follicles in ovary. Inj Ovumin 150IU was to accelerate the growth and stimulate ovulation. Now, you have to wait till size of follicle ranges between 22-27 mm. To induce ovulation so as to get chance to conceive. This was a fast track treatment of PCOD. Please follow the instructions given depending on changes in follicular size. Once dose for ovulation is decided, you can even go for unprotected sex / IUI and to achieve conception.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Vasudha Jayant Athavale, General & Family Physician
