What Is The Treatment For Xeloda Side Effects?
Thank you...I was just looking up side effects of xeloda, who is currently in the hospital for 2 blood clots in her lung and newly dx.d CHF.....She had colon Ca and took chemo/xeloda and was wondering if the xeloda could have caused any of her current problem s she is having.

thanks for your question in HCM,
from your question, patient had taken xeloda(capcetabine) for colon cancer.
xeloda is an anticancer drug and it is known to cause problems with blood clotting and CHF i.e heart failure. there are more chances of developing these problems with the above drug but other concomittant diseases also should be ruled out by your physician. please discuss this with your physician
