What Is The Treatment For A Boil On The Back?
I Have had a large boil on my back for two weeks. It started draining about a week ago. It is still draining a little bit, several drops a day. The puss is foul smelling. Should I go to urgent care center or wait to have my personal dr look T it? FYI I am diabetic.

In diabetes, healing of any wound or infection is delayed. Also chances of getting a severe bacterial infection carbuncle is high. In your case too, a carbuncle has to be ruled out. Oral and topical antibiotics antibiotics, warm water compresses are definitely required. Your doctor will ascertain whether incision and drainage is required or not.
