Hi,I am Dr. Prabhakar Koregol (Cardiologist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
My heart rate has been in the 90's and 100's this week....usually runs between 60's and 70's...BP is good... What can I do, other than my daily walks to lower my heart rate? I' m not overweight and my age is 66. I have had some stress this month with family matters. Thanks.
Hi There Stop worrying about the heart rate because it's completely within normal limit. Yes stress is an important factor in increasing the heart rate. So I would like like to advice you to start doing Yoga also daily along with morning walk as it will help you keep your stress under control thereby keeping your heart rate at normal levels. Maintain your healthy lifestyle habits.
Good Luck
