Hi ! Good morning. I am Dr Shareef answering your query.
From the history and your self examination finding of the hard consistency of the swelling, I would suggest you to get yourself examined by your family physician/general surgeon for a possibly biopsy of the lesion for a histo-pathological examination. Further management would depend on the investigation reports. Till that you could go for an anti inflammatory drug for the pain in the lesion.
I hope this information would help you in discussing with your family physician/treating doctor in further management of your problem. Please do not hesitate to ask in case of any further doubts. Thanks for choosing health care magic to clear doubts on your health problems. Wishing you an early recovery. Dr Shareef.
