What Is The Treatment For A Pea Sized Lump On The Arm?

Hi, I banged my arm about a month ago on a table, not badly just enough to leave a little bruise but in the last week a lump has hcome up under the skin a bit bigger than a pea. It hurts to touch and sometimes just when I move my arm around. Is this something I should get checked out?

General Surgeon 's  Response
hi.

it is best if you consult with a doctor, preferably a general surgeon, for medical and physical examination. based from your description, it could be a cyst (a sebaceous or a keratinous type), a fibroma, lipoma or an inflammatory/fibrotic reaction secondary to the impact. management (medical and surgical) will be directed accordingly.

hope this helps.

good day!!
