I tried soap as in bar soap and soap with Antibacterial with the pump on top, hand sanitizer and nothing works, body wash and dish soap all have the same resault as in it won t remove that slimily sticky coating. I had this problem for about a month now. But the real problem is that in the last two weeks it has spead to my face hair legs anywhere i touch it gets that itchie slimly stickie coating on my skin. now it s on everything i touch clothes bed, mouse, cans of pop basicaly anything i touch. it s all over my pillow bed sheets and my whole bed where my face and hands go. i clean it soap and it doesn t go away at all it stays on my towel and skin.It just won t go away. skin just stays sticky and the slim coating won t come off. I can t get it off my daily items I touch at all. Please any idea what will take it off me and my stuff?

Hello,

You have not mentioned anything about your past history/past illness, etc. However, you should take care of your hygiene. After touching your private organs make sure you are clean.

Dry yourself with a towel & apply a medicated powder so that you are comfortable. Wear cotton clothes that are loose-fitting.

If you are sexually active than you can have STD tests done to rule out STI. If the reports are positive you may need antivirals/antibiotics.

In my opinion, you should get yourself physically examined by a Psychiatrist because the ''sticky coating'' cannot spread all over as you have mentioned.

This is a symptom of Visual hallucinations that you are experiencing. Hallucination is a feature of Psychiatric illness. It can present as visual, tactile, gustatory or auditory. You need urgent medical diagnosis & treatment. You may need a Counselor as well.

No worries, medications, therapy & persistent monitoring of your physical & mental health will help you come out of the symptoms that cause you discomfort.

Stay away from addictions (alcohol, smoking, cocaine, amphetamines, etc).

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
