I'm a teen but I get heartburn all the time and now when I eat my throat gets itchy and I start coughing badly and my back starts itching. I have recently marched in the band through 2 parades over a mile long each right after each other and I just don't know why this is happening... Help?
Understanding your concern. As per your query you have heart burn, itchy throat and cough which seems to be due to gastroesophageal reflux disease or upper respiratory tract infection due to compromised immunity of body. Need not to worry. I would suggest you not to lay down immediately after having food. Avoid taking large meals. Take small meals at frequent intervals. You should take antacid omeprazole along with proton pump inhibitors Ranitidine. If symptoms keeps oj persisting visit ENT specialist once and get it examined and start treatment after proper prescription. Get barium meal study done to check extent of infection. You should maintain oral hygiene.
Hope your concern has been resolved.
