What Is The Treatment For Blood Clots In The Urine?
my brother has a lot of blood and some blood clots in his urine. no pain or discomfort anywhere except for a small lump and some slight discomfort in one of his tesicles. he went to the ER last night and they said his testicle may have a cist but don t think that s what s causing the blood and clots in his urine. again, he has no discomfort anywhere else. he said this morning that his urine this morning was like a diluted tomato juice. hes currently trying to get an appt with a urologist. what could this be caused from?
First, you need to meet a urologist since he has blood in urine and pain in testicles he needs the following evaluation to look for stone in bladder, infection or any growth.
He needs
1. Urine routine (with microscopy for malignant cells)
2. Ultrasound abdomen and pelvis
3. Ultrasound scrotum evaluating both testes
4. Complete blood count and peripheral smear
5. Serum creatinine
Then he can be planned for further management.
