I contracted a staph infection in November after beginning work in a nursing home. I was convinced by a nurse it was severe dehydration. After dramatic episodes of blurred vision and vertigo, I was diagnosed with Staph that had been present in my body for over a month. I applied an antibiotic topical ointment and took antibiotics for a possible ear infection. The sores in the nose are gone, but the blurred vision, dizziness and confusion remain, but are not constant. They are worse on some days and appear almost always during exertion. I experience heaviness/pressure in the left ear on occasion. I also had a sore just behind the left ear that took considerable time to heal. While at the urgent care just prior to Christmas I recall my eyesight being considerably worse in my left eye than my right. I am uninsured and it has taken a long time to overcome staph/sepsis, so I want to see a specialist ASAP if it could change my life dramatically. I am a student registered in courses and I am unemployed due to my illness. I need some answers and seeing a specialist without insurance is going to take a month. Please help
