What Is The Treatment For Bumps On Fingers And Palm Of Hands?

Hi, I have been getting these tiny bumps on my fingers and palm of my hands. When they first appear they hurt, feels like a piece of metal splinter. These blisters don t pop, there seems to be a thick layer of skin over the top of them. They hurt for a couple days, then they peel, then they go away,, then I find another one. I work in a car part warehouse and am around and touch a lot of metal, woos, chemicals, ect. I have never found anything in them... Any ideas?

Dermatologist 's  Response
Hi,

It seems to be dyshidrotic eczema. I would recommend you to apply topical steroid like clobetasol propionate cream on the affected areas twice daily and take antihistamine like tablet chlorpheniramine maleate 4 mg once daily at bedtime for 2 weeks.

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Asmeet Kaur Sawhney, Dermatologist
