What Is The Treatment For Chronic External Hemorrhoids?

Hello I have had chronic external hemmorhoids since I was 16. I usually get them about two to three times a year. I am now 28 and I have been having them lanced open and cut out (dont know the medical term lol). I really hate the pain and its causing me to miss a couple weeks of work a year, which doesnt seem that bad but I work in a production plant and I assure you they think it is. Anyways, the wipes and creams do absolutely nothing for me but make me even more uncomfortable. I havent had them in about a year but I just had a bad flare up today and I know I cant work like this. My old doctor started giving me loratab and it did wonders. With them I could work and just let them go away naturally instead of having a very embarrassing procedure. So my question is when I go see my new doctor do you think I would be out of line to ask for them again? Is it something that is commonly prescribed for hemmorhoids?

Thanks for contacting healthcare magic.

You complain that you have external hemorrhoids.
First you have to modify your diet like eat more fiber foods that improve your digestion.

Use stool softner so minimum exertion occurs.
Avoid spicy foods. Avoid oily foods.
Drink more water.
Eat fress fruits and green vegetables.
Avoid constipation by taking proper diet.

If you have too much irritation and pain around hemorrhoids than you can use steroid ointment for decresing inflammation .For severe pain you can take analgesic.

Surgically hemorrhoids can remove but recurrences is more.

I hope my guidance is helpful to you.
Wish you a good health.
Take care.
Thanks.
