What Is The Treatment For Chronic Itching On Left Arm From Elbow To Wrist?

I have chronic itching on my left arm from the elbow to the wrist and sometimes the itching affects my left hand too. But my right hand and arm never itch. I also experience a "pins and needles" tingling in my entire left arm that comes and goes. It makes it difficult to sleep at night sometimes.

Hi
Thank you for asking HCM
I have gone through your query.Your problem is most likely photodermatitis as it is in the usual sun exposed part.Any how it is better to rule out the condition with a dermatologist. For my patients with such condition i advise steroid creams and tablets,to use a sunblock for both UVA and UVB with an SPF of 15 or greater each morning, avoidance of sun exposure as much as possible.I also recommend to limit the amount of limes, celery, carrots, and figs in your diet, avoid “natural” fruit-based skin lotions and cosmetics.Hope this may help you.
Let me know if you have any further query.
I find this answer helpful
