What Is The Treatment For Chronic Leukemia?

A friend of mine-----72----has lived with chronic leukemia for 20 years and has been suffering from foot/hand numbness and pain----shooting pains, like that of pins and needles. Would this be associated with his leukemia? Docs have ruled out it s related to his borderline diabetes condition.

Hi, dear
I have gone through your question. I can understand your concern.
His pain sounds like a pain of diabetes or peripheral neuropathy due to some other causes. He should investigate for that and take treatment of that.

Treatment of chronic leukemia depends on type of leukemia like myeloid or lymphoid and stage of leukemia. But chemotherapy is the treatment of choice for both.
Consult your doctor and take treatment accordingly.

Hope I have answered your question, if you have any doubts then contact me at bit.ly/Drsanghvihardik, I will be happy to answer you.
