What Is The Treatment For Constipation And Fever?

I have been horribly sick for 4 days now with what I thought was just the flu. I cant even fall asleep, i haven't slept more than 10 hours in the past 4 days, and I have tried small drinks and crackers but nothing will stay down, and i'm constipated. I refuse to go to the hospital and wait 8 hours to be told theres nothing wrong with me, and the local clinics are closed for new years eve. What do I do? I'm in tears because of the pain and I just keep throwing up the lining of my stomach.

Hi.

Thanks for your query.

Noted the history and understood the concerns.
There is no use to think in advance of what the Doctors would do and so.
Since you have been continuously vomiting you can go into dehydration along with its complications of renal and related problems to go into further complications.
Hence I would suggest you the following:
Rush to ER or nearby Hospital for clinical evaluation, examination and proper investigations to know the cause of fever, vomiting and constipation.
To get started on a proper treatment with a PPI like Omeprazole, Domperidone, Intravenous fluids and antibiotics till vomiting stops.
Constipation is obvious because you are vomiting, most probably dehydrated and not taking any solids orally.
If X-ray shows fecoliths you may need an enema otherwise full diet, stool softeners and laxatives will helps to solve this problem.
Symptomatic additional treatment for fever and other symptoms too will be given.

Take care.
