What Is The Treatment For Cyclic Vomiting Syndrome?
My husband has vomiting attacks that are very random and without warnign signs. Sometimes in the middle fo the night or day. His diet is filled with red meat and diet pepsi. Very small amounts alcohol. Some fresh fruits and veg s.Little or no water or juice. He vomits for up to 12 hours and sweatslike crazy he is pain. After a few times he vomits notyhing but bile. He is on dylanton for ceasures. He was into cocaine and meth when he ws in is 20 s he is now 54 and doesn t do drugs except weed.

Hi. Persistent episodes of vomiting warrants clinical investigation. You need to bring your husband to a doctor, particularly a Gastroenterologist. Because there a lot of causes of vomiting. There is a related condition to cyclic vomiting syndrome called cannabinoid hyperemesis syndrome, also presents with cyclical vomiting in individuals who use large quantities of cannabis over many years. thus usually resolves with discontinuation.
