My husband was hit by a hard thrown softball this morning. When I returned home in the afternoon he was resting with an ice pack over his eye/ temple. He now has a very dark black eye. He has taken ibuprofen twicw/three times and continues to have a headache. Early on had some nausea, but none later. He has rested the rest of the day. He says his hearing was weird for awhile and his jaw is tender. I wanted him to go to urgent care which he chose not to. Should we try to see our primary care doc tomorrow oe should he must rest?
as far as black eye is concerned it will go on its own in couple of weeks but what could be bothersome is the possibility of injury to the underlying eye
please get your eye examined definitely today if there is visual blurring if not can wait till tomorrow
good luck
