What Is The Treatment For Dark Red Spots On The Legs?

Hello I just woke up with darken red spots on my feet and my legs tingling and warm. The spots look like cherry juice. I work on my feet lifting people and straining. I also take calcium and potassium for my muscles and bones. I also wear support hose. What is causing my feet to discolor?

Hi.
As per your case history you are probably having purpuric rash.
My treatment advice is -
1. It maybe caused by trauma, insect bite, due to certain medications or any systemic disease.
2. Take diet rich in vitamin c. Start tablet vitamin c 500mg daily once.
3. If problem persists then you need to go for investigations like bleeding time, clotting time and prothrombin time.

Consult a dermatologist if it does not cure in 2-3 weeks.

Thanks.
Dr. Harshit bhachech.
MBBS, DDVL.
