What Is The Treatment For Dermal Lesion On Mons Pubis?

I am a 50 y/o woman whose last period was March 2014. Since 2012 my yearly UA came back with 11-20 RBCs. I saw a Urologist and just had an abdominal/pelvic CT with contrast which is completely negative. The radiologist did note a 12x10mm dermal lesion on the left aspect of my mons pubis. Urologist wants to do a cystoscopy but I believe I should follow up with my gynecologist. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Hello ma'am and welcome.

I do not see the point of a cystoscopy and would strongly recommend visiting your gynecologist with the issue, and if at all there is reason to believe a cystoscopy will be beneficial we can go ahead with that as well.

Hope this helps.

Best wishes.
