What Is The Treatment For Diarrhea?

my son is 14 months old he is suffering from diarrhea from last Sunday. his stools are very loose and fishy smelling.Initially vomitings are there but after some syrup they reduced. So he is hospitalised and given treatment by the following drugs macmika 250 injection , zedott for 4 days plus ors for viral diarrhea. After medication also still diarrhea persists and now they have recommended Zincolife Syrup. Now fishy smell is reduced but loose motions are there. I'm just worried like how many days these motions will be there. Can you please suggest anything on this.

Loose motions take 5-7 days to decrease.Main dangers in loose motion are dehydration and electrolyte imbalance. But in hospital settings you don't have to worry about it as both the things are properly managed with iv fluids. Treatment given by your doctor is correct. Have patience
