For the past few days I have had what I call quick 1/2 second pulses of dizziness or disorientation. I really hesitate to use those words because I am still know where I am and what is going on around me..it s feels like a quick head shake if that makes sense

Well there can be many reasons for vertigo like benign paroxysmal positional vertigo, inflammation within the inner ear sometimes due to infection, head injury , certain medications and due to cervical spondylosis, meniere's disease , acoustic neuroma or sinusitis . You should visit ENT specialist. Doctor may order certain test like CT scan , MRI , blood test , audiometery test, rotatory chair testand ECG to confirm the diagnosis. You should take antibiotics along with antiemetic drugs and anti inflammatory as your doctor will prescribe . For now i would like to suggest you some home remedies drink green tea with ginger thrice a day and avoid caffeine product . Doctor may also refer you to orthopedic surgeon for cervical problem .
