As per your query you have ear ache which is sharp in nature which can occur due to accumulation of ear wax to more serious acoustic neuroma like condition . If your symptoms are not relieved by treatment prescribed by your doctor and the episodes of earache are getting frequent then you should again consult. octor may prescribe drug like eperisone , muscle relaxant and sedatives. Maintain hygiene and avoid pricking it with sharp object. Doctor may order certain test like audiometery , CT scan ,MRI , low and high pitched ringing to rule out conditions like hearing loss , exposure to loud noises , earwax build-up , middle ear infection.
