I went to the dr. today for discomfort in my L ear. He peeked in and saw what he described as a small round blue thing and a small round green thing that resembles a child s toy. he said he d never seen anything like it before and referred me back to my ent who has been treating me. What the heck is inside my ear or what could it be? No one not even my 6 year old has ever put a toy in my ear!! - Thanks...David
You have discomfort in the ear. You are suggested to get clinically examined by an ENT. If it is a foreign material, it will be removed in the clinic. If it is an infection or ear wax, it will be treated accordingly. Ear infection can cause the earwax to change due to the body's inflammatory response that may lead to the difference in color.
If its ear infection you will be treated with antibiotics and anti-inflammatory. In case its wax you will be given a ear drop to soften ear wax and then the ENT will remove it.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
