Hi I went to the doctor today to get my ears syringed, left ear is fine but I had to stop him going any further with the right ear as it started to hurt. Now When I hiccup it hurts, He said to go back to him if it hurts so I am going back tomorrow I told him years ago when I was a child, a Bolip burst in my right ear but it closed up when I was 18 I m 29 now What should I do Cheers Tim

One of the is the injury caused by Syringing, which happened in your case in right ear.The Ear pain on Hiccoughs is suggestive of either the wax is touching the ear drum or there is injury to the Ear drum that is Tympanic Membrane. I would advise to get this removed under microscope.
