Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here are my thoughts.
Feeling very hot and then very cold, funny feeling down the face on one side from her eye can actually be due to one of the following reasons: Herpes Zoster infection. Trigeminal neuralgia which in turn can be due to hypertension causing rubbing of an arterial loop along the Trigeminal nerve. This can be diagnosed by the following: Clinical evaluation and Ear nose endoscopy by an ENT Surgeon. MRI for the Trigeminal nerve and vascular loo. All these will give an exact diagnosis thus making a proper management possible. Please take her to an ENT Surgeon.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
