What Is The Treatment For Eczema Like Lesions With Oozing Fluid?
Hi, I have been suffering severe exema like symptoms on the palms of my hands since 2007.I was under treatment which included ultra violet treatment every week for over 1yr.The condition improved greatly for some time but it had comeback again,improves and come back gain & again.Their is fliud which oozes out also.however the rest of my body is fine now,its just the hands mainly.i take a lot of precautions but the proble persists.I was wondering if I should have uv treatment once again.Regards,Sunita
It seems that you may be having either irritant or allergic contact dermatitis of the hand. There may be some cause like detergent, soap,dust,cosmetics,or some other. You try to find out the cause and avoid contact. Consult dermatologist. Steroids in tappering dose, antibiotics,antihistaminics orally and topical steroid,tacrolimus or pimecrolimus with antibiotic cream may be prescribed by your dermatologist. I hope you got my answer.
