Hi, Increased flatulence may occur because of the greater ability of some bacteria to produce gas, maldigestion of certain food products and bacterial overgrowth of the small intestine. In the treatment you can try restricting foods like beans, lentils, cabbage, brussel sprouts, onions, carrots, apricots and prunes,as these may increase flatulence.Sometimes Cap.Simethicone & probiotics may also help.In case there is no improvement ,then you might need evaluation for the underlying cause . Hope it helps.
