I am a 56 year old male, 5"10, 200 lbs. who suffers from glue ear. Every time I get sick I have a problem! I have had tubes inserted in the past 10 years. They helped for a brief period of time. I did not have any drainage or fluid in the middle ear at that time. Is their a permanent cure or surgery for my problem? Help!!!
in my opinion this glue ear is due to eustachian tube blockage. acute treatment is grommet insertion to prevent ear drum damage. if you are suffering chronically with this problem , I would recommend you to take nasal decongestant xylometazoline nasal drop and levocetrizine tablet. if you doesn't relieve, surgery is final solution.
