Hello,

It seems the problem is on both the sides(bilateral). Treatment of the cause will have to be done. Get clinically examined to detect inguinal hernia, prostate, dilated vas deferens, epidydimal cyst, hydrocele, epidydimal tubular ectasia, etc. Your symptoms are indicative of tubular ectasia epididymis with cysts. Cysts are surgically removed & epididymis treated with a course of antibiotics like doxycycline or bactrim depending on the severity of the symptoms.

Stay well hydrated, applying ice packs & elevation of the scrotum will give relieve, stay at rest and avoid doing any heavy work. Hernia or hydrocele are treated surgically & conservative treatment is given for better and faster recovery. Your treatment will depend on the pathology detected. For relieve from pain you can take naproxen, one stat after food. Get treated before symptoms get worse.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Nupur K, General & Family Physician
