What Is The Treatment For Gross Hematuria?
I just had kidney stones shocked. On my discharge papers there was a place that had my diagnosis, below that showed kidney stones and then it also listed gross hematuria. This is the first time I have even seen that term let alone have it as part of my diagnosis. What is gross hematuria ?

Presence of blood in urine is called haematuria and when blood in urine can be seen with naked eye it is called gross hematuria
it's a abnormal condition and warrants a urologists opinion few causes of hematuria are as follows
stones in urinary tract
urinary tract infection
sexually transmitted diseases
traumatic like rupture kidney or urethra
BPH in elderly men
