Hi there,
Clostridium difficile infection is due to a toxin-producing bacteria that causes a more severe form of antibiotic associated diarrhea. The disease ranges from mild diarrhea to severe colon inflammation.
Initially i would suggest you take 7 days couse of antibiotic clinamycin. This will help to eradicate the bacteria.
Fo hard stols its most likely due to constipation.
Drastic life stle changes is recommmended
Take lots of fibre rich diet
Drinks lots of water
Take metamucil husk every night before going to bed.
Poly ethylene glycol a laxative can be taken as and when required in dose ranging from 5ml to 20 ml as per the requirement of your body.If stool get too lose reduce the doses to half as per the requirement of your body,
Thanks
