Hi, I am 25 yr old male. I have recently started to get sharp headaches over my right eye that last maybe from anywhere to 2-5 seconds about every two days and also I my left eye has begun to start twitching on the bottom. Just wondering if you have an answer for me before I check myself in to my local doctor? Thanks.
Hello dear, I can understand your concern.Sharp unilateral headache(on one side) behind right eye, of seconds in duration, can be a trigeminal autonomic cephalgias(TAC's) like cluster headache,Short acting unilateral neuralgiform headache(SUNA) or Short acting unilateral neuralgiform headache with conjunctival tearing(SUNCT).But these are usually associated with excessive lacrimation. Please visit a neurologist so that he may take a proper history and examine you well,to make a proper diagnosis.I hope it helps.
