Hi,I am Dr. Subhankar Chakraborty (Gastroenterologist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have hemorrhoids (for the second time in my life, I am 46). I have noticed some blood in my underwear and I can feel that on of the hemorrhoids burst today. Should I see my physician immediately or wait a couple of days to see if the bleeding stops? Thanks for your help.
well sir the trearment of haemorrhoids depends on whether they are internal and external haemorrhoids and secondly on their degree which a doctor can suggest you better after examining it.i would advise you to consult a surgeon as this job belongs to a surgeon ,he can guyide you better in the management of haemorrhoids,so you should consult a doc immediately to be on the safe side as ocassionally it progresses to thrombosis which becomes a medical emergency.
