What Is The Treatment For High BP During Pregnancy?

I am pregnant and my blood pressure is all over the place. It has been as high as 140/99, but dropped this last time to 120/94. Before pregnancy my blood pressure was in the normal range. Is this ok? My doctor seems ok with it and says it is borderline high & he will keep his eye on it but I was hoping for a 2nd opinion. Thanks!

Hi

Yes this is normal especially in pregnancy. If at all you notice swelling anywhere especially your feet then report to your doctor for a urine analysis to check on your urine protein levels as well. For now this is fine, and yes, keep your blodd pressure well monitored.

Best wishes.
